A REGULAR GIG FOR THE DIVA
Musicians are looking for work every day of the year. So, to find a regular gig is a real blessing and I am most appreciative of how I met the man who made sure I got the gig at the East End Brasserie. I met Andrew Volkmann because of member Sherry Rudolph, who invited me to a yacht business networking last year. Good things come to those who wait. Andrew and his co-worker Julia invited Joan Cartwright & Jazz Hotline to perform for their Mother’s Day Brunch and on June 2, the group will begin Saturday Nite Alive at the lounge in the lobby of The Atlantic Resort & Spa!
We’ll also perform on Friday, June 22, 2012 in Miami
